Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
- Whisk flour, baking soda and salt.
- Beat butter and sugars until creamy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets with space between portions.
- Bake until edges are golden and centers are still slightly soft. Cool on the sheet before moving.
